Born
in Detroit, Michigan, July 22, 1964; admitted to bar,
1996, Michigan; registered to practice before U.S. Patent
and Trademark Office.
EDUCATION:
Wayne
State University (B.S. ChE. 1991); University of Detroit
Mercy School of Law (J.D. 1995).

Bar of Michigan; Michigan Intellectual Property Law
Association; American Intellectual Property Law Association;
Oakland County Bar Association.
Larry has a B.S. in chemical engineering from Wayne State University. Larry served in various engineering capacities at companies such as Nalco Chemical Co., Betz Metchem, Ford/Mazda, and General Motors. Larry also has extensive experience as an electronics technician while serving in the United States Marine Corps. Prior to founding the firm of L.C. Begin & Associates, Larry worked for two A-V rated law firms, Lyon P.C. and Dinnin & Dunn, P.C. While at Lyon P.C., Larry served as president prior to joining Dinnin & Dunn, P.C. |

KEITH
SCHEER
Admitted to Illinois bar, 1994; admitted to Michigan bar, 2006; registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Keith has a B.S. in mechanical engineering with a minor in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to relocating to Michigan, Keith pursued an MS in Computer Science at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. Keith also has extensive practical experience in electro-mechanical product design and software development at companies such as Molex, Inc. and Eaton Corp., and is listed as an inventor on 8 U.S. patents. Prior to joining L.C. Begin & Associates, Keith was an attorney with the law firms of Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon and Ladas & Parry of Chicago, IL. |

TANYA L. GARRETT (Of Counsel)
Admitted to Michigan bar, 2000; registered to practice before U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Tanya has a B.S. in electrical engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute. Tanya specializes in patent law in the areas of electrical and computer engineering. Tanya worked as an electrical engineer for General Motors North American Truck and Bus Platform (NATP). Tanya is also an Adjunct Professor of Patent Drafting at Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Tanya was an attorney with the law firms of Young & Basile, P.C.; Weintraub & Brady, P.C., Plunkett & Cooney, P.C., and Dobrusin & Thennisch, P.C. |
